Families are made up of people who love each other — and people who can also really push each other’s buttons. When things feel tense, distant, or just plain hard at home, family therapy can help everyone feel more understood and more connected.
We bring a trauma-informed, strength-based approach to every family we work with — which means we never look for someone to blame. Instead, we help each family member understand their own triggers and reactions, and learn new ways of responding that bring more calm and connection into the home. We break it all down simply and practically, so everyone — kids, teens, and adults alike — can take part, build new skills, and feel the difference at home.
Family therapy can involve any combination of family members, and pairs well with individual therapy too.
