Six years ago, High Hopes Counseling was born from one belief: everyone deserves access to therapy, whether they can afford it or not.
We started providing individual therapy, group counseling, and parent education. We didn’t turn anyone away, even when people had no money. But sustaining that access alone was impossible.
So we adapted: we offer scholarships — made available through donations and grants. Because cost should never be why someone doesn’t get therapy.
This summer, we launched our mobile mental health van, made possible by a grant from The Samueli Foundation. This allows us to bring individual therapy, group counseling, parent education, and The Recharge Lab (emotional regulation training) directly to neighborhoods. No barriers. Just access.
